Awwww.....Even In Nature

Mother's Day was a little bit rainy, and, when it rains, out come the snails.  There were so many on our lawn and porch, that we had to tiptoe through them to get in the house without stepping on anybody.

When I saw these two, I had to grab my camera. Check out that little guy following his mama! (I don't know that much about snails, so I don't REALLY know if the bigger one is female or not, but it makes me happier to think of it as a mama snail.) Don't ruin it for me if you somehow know the difference. :)

It was such a sweet, natural moment, and I love that it was Mother's Day!

You didn't think I would only put one lil' ol' sneak peek up. Did ya?

Mother's Day

This year I had such a wonderful time on Mother's Day.  I now have two boys and twice the love.  Some of my facebook friends caught me talking about the possibility of a third baby and three times the love.  (My husband saw that, too. I don't think he's contemplating all the love of a third baby right now.  Maybe on Father's Day.) For lunch, we went to Hill's Cafe for the Gospel Brunch.  Xander loved the music, and I was excited to discover that Arlo also likes live music.  He was bouncing to the music in his high chair. And, for once, Mother's Day didn't end when we got home from lunch. We enjoyed a relaxing day together, hanging out and playing soccer in the backyard. We even got to eat dinner together since Adam was off the whole day! Yay!

Here are a few snapshots from the day - primarily pics of me loving on my boys - something they may not let me do someday.

I could have kept shooting and shooting and shooting and... Not only is she beautiful, but she also slept the whole time!!!

I hope she stayed as calm for her mama after I left - especially since big brother wanted mama all to himself. :) (It gets easier; I promise.)

Ryan D {Austin Baby & Family Photographer}

Gorgeous eyes. The first thing I noticed about this little sweetheart was his eyes! He has two distinct colors of blue, and a little gray! Did I say gorgeous?

Plus, mom and dad chose just the right colors to wear to make them stand out even more. :) Good job, you guys.

Ryan was Mr. Alert the whole time I was there until just about the last three minutes, when he conked out. Then we snuck a few more pics of him. I can't leave when there is a sleeping baby to be photographed!

Check out a few sneaks from his session.

I love that name! Good job, Shayne's parents!

And her honey, Gallant, has a cool name, too. So, of course they have a super cute name for the little baby boy in that belly. I won't give it away - just in case they don't want it plastered on the internet, but, trust me, it's a good one.

I hope I get to meet him soon! Not too soon, but, you know what I mean.

These guys were good sports about the dismal weather. We wanted a sunny day and fields of flowers, but I think we got some gorgeous pics despite the weather.

Love This Family! (Austin Family & Child Photography)

I've known this little man since he was still in mama's belly! We did newborn photos, then six month photos, and now one year! I can't believe it!

And these guys were SUCH troopers! We postponed one session because of rain, and didn't want to move the make up session. So we stayed downtown and dealt with the rain - the pouring rain! We got some beautiful images AND it eventually stopped raining and got kind of nice. Muggy, but nice.

Here are a few sneak peeks from the session.
